WOOHOO TIS FRIDAY!

Thanks for the lovely comments re my pics from yesterday - I actually did take them myself, with my arm stretched to capacity (which is why some of them are at an odd angle) Lol!

....am soooooooooo looking forward to seeing Craig tonight - has been a bit of a crappy week (well not on the submission front :)) but with him being away in Auckland at a Sales meeting all week, my mum having a wee op on Tuesday, waiting waiting waiting for confirmation of something else new in my life (still not confirmed Arrgh!) and parent/teacher interviews last night, it's all been a bit much.

We had fabulous reports of Caitlin's progress at college last night which was a relief. She has been selected for various extension programmes in Maths, Social studies and English and is progressing very well.

Had to laugh though ... she has always read extensively and as such, is blessed with excellent, creative writing skills and comprehension way above her years. Anyway, her English teacher was certain she was being bullied after marking her most recent poetry assignment, as her poetry was so real. She of course, thought it was hilarious, but we were the ones facing the questions last night ... little monkey! She was pretty quick to suggest that her Dad and I may like to go thirds with her, in an expensive pair of jeans that she has her eye on, you know, seeing as she got such great comments and all ... God loves a trier Lol!

Just finished this Letter S for Craig's Niece who is the same age as Caitlin. She too has had some good things happening in her life recently having had a bit of trouble from some particularly nasty friends, so I thought she deserved something special just for her.

Looking forward to some valuable scrapping time on the weekend ...

Have a good one ...

Great sneaky peeps, & lovely pics of you. I too have been trying to get some more pics of me - but most of them I can delete too easy - naughty me! Big congrats on getting a SC project accepted. Love that big S, what a special gift.

What a wonderful gift - it's really nice to give kids a boost (and when it comes from someone who is not immediate family that's even better). Having seen closeup what bullying can do(our Cait had to move schools) I am all in favour of boosting kids whenever we can. That gift is gorgeous!
