We had such a lovely day yesterday. Ok, the weekend started a little badly with Craig deciding that he didn't need to be on his meds anymore (another story for another day!) however, let's just say, it finished better than it started.
As Craig was off at conference and Bianca had gone home in the morning, Caits big day was a little low key. Her birthday had been a little spread out, with us taking her to the Shakers Game with her friends a few weeks ago. This being the case, we had a casual afternoon tea with both lots of grandparents, her dad and little half sister. It was great to see everyone together again - my mum and Bryn's parents get on really well and haven't seen each other for a while, so there were a few laughs had and a bit of reminiscing. Bryn's parents are hilarious little welsh people and always cause havoc wherever they go - I love them to bits and have stayed close to them. They like Craig and Bryn and Craig get on too, so it's all a bit civil really Lol! Caitlin was just three years old when we separated, so as you can imagine, there has been quite a lot of water under the bridge since then.
The birthday girl had requested Lasagne and Apple Crumble and as it was just the two of us for dinner, we raced down to the Video Shop and got our all time favourite Chick Flicks - STEPMOM and GHOST. There we sat, under the pink blanket, watching videos without any interruptions from Channel flicking blokes wanting to watch the Soccer or Rugby.... ah, the perfect end to a great day.

Re scrapping stuff, have just finished this layout of Craig's niece at Disneyland. I love this picture, but didn't want to do heaps of journalling as, unfortunately, I wasn't there Lol!. I used a truckload of ribbon and had a heap of fun with it!
Have also been putting together my Recipe Journal for The Scrapbook Outlet Circle Journal swap - should be fun. I received my first one in the mail today so will have to get my skates on!!! I spose I can always drive my recipe book to Beverly's place, she only lives 20 minutes away!
Am in my last couple of days of work and am not sure whether I'm coming or going to be honest. Computer stuff to clear out and email lists to print out and all those kind of last minute jobs that have to be done. Am really gonna miss 'iphoto' and have just got a colleague to put over 700 pics on CD for me - that is such a relief! ... got my priorities straight eh??
.... Now on to the emails!!

Happy belated birthday Caitlin. How fun to spend some quality time with mum!
Ali, hope the 'situation' with Craig has been sorted. It's never good when they think they don't need the meds anymore, btdt. Hugs to you.
Your DD is gorgeous! Got the shotgun ready...LOL. So is your layout...gorgeous, that is! Looking forward to your CJ in due course.
