A NEW START

It doesn't seem that long ago since Craig and I moved in together for the second time and then split up, mostly due to the financial pressure of redundancy and Xmas, but in fact, it's been a whole year. We have come a very long way in that year, I can tell you.

This weekend, we moved into our own home - YES our very own home! After fifteen moves in ten years, nobody can .... give us notice, increase our rent, not fix stuff that we need fixed nor sell the house from under us. There are no grumpy landlords or noisy flatmates overhead and if we don't like the curtains or the paintwork - hey, we can change it. In addition, if we want to get a dog, then we can, as we are fully fenced and don't have to share a section with anyone else. The best thing of all, is that the large sum of money coming out of our accounts every month, is paying off something that is ours!

It may not be in the suburb of our choice, but it's ours and it's a start ........ Merry Xmas!
